Forwarded by another promoter. You’ll have to work out who, if that sort of thing is of GREAT IMPORTANCE to you.
It’s another you could file under ‘actually quite sweet’ but, hey, sob stories bore me and I’m feeling bitchy (FOR A CHANGE!!!!!! SHE ADDED SOMEWHAT SARCASTICALLY).

HOW DOES THIS PAINFUL STORY END?
Well, I dunno.
UPDATE: Oh, ok, you can read the ending by checking out the comment underneath.

Well, in the end he didn’t even have to pay because on the night this diminuitive man turned up in a massive Volvo 4×4 rental car that he couldn’t quite see over the dashboard of. After working out how to turn off the engine and the lights (five minutes), said man comes out clutching a piece of paper asking for Mr ***.
I told him to get the fuck inside as the band had already been on for 50 minutes. He even had the 8 quid in change in his hand but he was so excited I just grabbed him and pushed him in. He bought drinks later and had also brought me a cuddly manga toy as a present and even had some dog food for the venue dog. Oops guess that gives it away but it is a totally SWEET story and we miss him already.
Legendary tale! Good on him, how much of the show did he actually catch?
He got to see half an hour at least as the band did an epic set. He actually came over for shows in Cardiff and Leicester as well, hence the oversized rental car. And, for the record, Japanese dog food looks well tasty.
This story has warmed my cockles.
